What an amazing experience! We upgraded to a private tour, which was more flexible and personalized. Our guide, Silverio, not only helped us complete the planned activities but also introduced us to many local cultures and traditions. For lunch, we had dinner at a local Dominican restaurant and the oxtail and codfish were unexpectedly delicious. The cigar factory was a favorite for both the kid and I – we could make our own handmade cigar and even take it home for free. If there is an option to visit a coffee factory or chocolate factory in the future, where kids can make their own chocolate, that would be absolutely fantastic. Many thanks to our guide – five stars all around!
